Our department is a research group investigating sleep, dreaming and the neurocognitive and electrophysiological aspect of these. We participate in graduate and postgraduate education as course organizers, lecturers and seminar teachers. Our members specialize in sleep research, consciousness and psychophysiology and provide expert knowledge of these areas for undergraduate medical psychology courses and specialized postgraduate courses. Clinical aspects of the research of our department include certain developmental disorders (especially Williams syndrome) and sleep-specific characteristics of nightmare disorders.
